I’m a Dutch type designer with a background in graphic design (Amsterdam) and BFA degree (ArtEZ Arnhem). What started with an obsession for hand lettering and calligraphy turned into a full-time focus on type design. I don’t just make fonts, I teach others how to do it well.

Why I do what I do
There’s a lot of vague or overly theoretical teaching out there. That’s not what I do. My goal is to make type design understandable and achievable, without dumbing it down.
